KEMPER ranks among Top 1000 global market leaders in Germany

Vreden, 16/12/10 – KEMPER GmbH ranks among the Top 1000 strongest global market-leading companies in Germany. A list of companies that dominate the global markets with their products, which was recently published by the German manager magazine, shows KEMPER among the 1000 strongest world market-leading companies in Germany. The list places the plant engineering specialist with headquarters in Vreden (Westphalia) at number 971. Business Consultant Professor Bernd Venohr prepared this list of the Top 1000 world market leading companies in Germany with a view to industry leadership, or top-ranking  individual products.

Bjoern Kemper, Managing Director of KEMPER GmbH, sees the company’s ascent into the Top 1000 as the result of outstanding innovation strength: "We have never taken time out to rest on our laurels in terms of the success of the products we have established in the market; instead we continue to work on developing our products to ever higher standards”. The main expertise of the company is focussed on the business unit Welding and Cutting". During the last few years, KEMPER additionally created the business units ‘Automation’ and ‘Solar’. Extensive investment in new products and business units was made possible primarily due to the fact that the company has remained family-run: "As owners, we tend to think long-term. The global market leader in the sector of Extraction and Filter Systems, as well as Suction Tables has appeared on the Top 1000 list of manager magazine for the first time, for now in position 971. The list is the result of a comprehensive database of companies, which was created by Professor Bernd Venohr over the course of several years. According to manager magazin, the list includes German supplier’s right down to the smallest niche market. All of the Top 1000 world market-leading companies listed here have managed to combine top performance with economic success.
